Founded in 2025, One Voice Choral Academy was created to share a love for choral music and provide students with thoughtful, high-quality vocal education.
At the heart of our rehearsals, rigorous training is balanced with the joy of expressive stage performance. We nurture skilled and expressive choristers who learn the power of performing as “one voice.”
This holistic approach goes beyond music. Through disciplined ensemble work, young singers also build confidence, self-assurance, artistic sensitivity, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to a group.

Co-Founder & Principal Conductor
Marcus Lee
A Singapore-based choral director and educator with more than fifteen years of experience supporting the growth of young singers across Asia.

Marcus holds a Master of Arts in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting from the Centro Escolar Conservatory of Music. His professional credentials also include a DipLCM in Choral Conducting, an ALCM Diploma in Music Performance (Voice) from the University of West London, and an ATCL Diploma with Distinction in Singing from Trinity College London.
A Journey of Growth and Achievement
Under his guidance, youth ensembles have performed on international stages, earning honours at the Jeju World Youth Choral Festival and the Singapore International Choral Cantat.
A Respected Voice in the Choral Community
Marcus is frequently invited as a speaker and adjudicator at regional and international festivals. In 2025, he contributed to the Bandung Choral Symposium and the Nusantara Choir Folk Festival. He is also the founder of Muziksea and the Vocabella Ladies Choir.

Samantha Wee
A conductor and educator whose practice is rooted in vocal pedagogy, musicianship, community, and process-focused Kodály teaching.

Samantha obtained her Master’s degree in Kodály Music Pedagogy at the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Kecskemét, Hungary, specialising in vocal pedagogy and choral conducting.
A Choral Journey Across Continents
Her choral journey began as a school chorister and continued through notable choral and vocal ensembles, leading to performance and competition experiences across Asia, Europe, and the United States. In 2022, she began pursuing choral conducting professionally through the Choral Collective Residency Programme.
An Educator Rooted in Process and Community
Her teaching emphasises engaging, meaningful, process-focused learning and strong musicianship, while her conducting seeks to create safe and supportive choir communities.

Adyll Hardy
A choral director, educator, and music therapist with nearly
two decades of experience in choral conducting and community
music-making.

Adyll holds a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from
Chulalongkorn University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences
in Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
His professional credentials include training with the
International Neurologic Music Therapy® Training Institute,
an LTCL in Singing from Trinity College London, and an ALCM
in Conducting from the London College of Music.
A Legacy of Excellence and International Acclaim
Adyll has led school, tertiary, and community ensembles
to strong artistic and competitive achievements,
including top honours at the Singapore Youth Festival,
Gold and Silver awards at the World Choir Games, and
category championships at the Vietnam International
Choral Competition INTERKULTUR.
As Music Director of The Graduate Singers and the
NUS Society (NUSS) Choir, he has also led concert tours
across the United States, Japan, Australia, and China.

programmes and clinical settings.
His person-centred approach creates supportive spaces

Junior Programme8–12
Foundation & Discovery
Build the musicianbefore the performer.
The Junior Choral Programme transforms a love for singing into strong musical foundations through ear training, vocal technique, music literacy, harmony, and confident score reading.
Repertoire introduces students to important musical traditions—from Renaissance polyphony to global folk repertoire—so they develop both skill and a lasting appreciation of musical heritage.
The Senior Choral Programme is designed for young singers ready to move from foundational learning toward sophisticated ensemble performance.
Students refine blend, balance, stylistic versatility, advanced sight-reading, emotional depth, and the discipline needed for complex choral literature, festivals, and international stages.
Auditions are free of charge.Placement helps us understand each singer’s range, musical background, and appropriate ensemble level.

Everything families need to know before joining One Voice Choral Academy.
The audition is a relaxed way for us to get to know the singer. It typically includes:
Vocal Exercises: simple musical scales to check range.
Short Interview: questions about musical background.
Solo Song: prepare a song in any language, approximately one minute long.
We highly recommend memorizing your piece to help you perform with confidence. However, you are welcome to use sheet music if that helps you feel more comfortable.
Smart casual attire is recommended—professional, but comfortable enough to breathe and sing freely.
Weekly rehearsals are two hours long and are typically held on Saturdays. Specific timings vary by ensemble level; a detailed schedule will be provided upon placement.

Sing confidently in a group, follow harmony parts, improve pitch, breathing, listening, teamwork, and stage confidence.
In 1 year
Perform confidently in concerts, sing harmony with greater expression, improve range and tone, and participate in larger choir productions.
In 2 years
Perform advanced choral repertoire, demonstrate stronger harmony control and stage presence, take on possible section leadership, and build a foundation for advanced vocal training.
