The first Singaporean to hold an FLCM in Classical Guitar Performance, holds 7 other diplomas in classical guitar, such as: LLCM in classical guitar performance, LTCL in classical guitar recital, LLCM (TD) in classical guitar teaching, ATCL in classical guitar recital, ALCM (TD) in classical guitar teaching, AMusTCL in music theory and DipMusLCM in music theory.

Eric, a highly accomplished classical guitarist and educator, is the first Singaporean to hold an FLCM in Classical Guitar Performance. Other than that, Eric holds 7 other diplomas in classical guitar, such as: LLCM in classical guitar performance, LTCL in classical guitar recital, LLCM (TD) in classical guitar teaching, ATCL in classical guitar recital, ALCM (TD) in classical guitar teaching, AMusTCL in music theory and DipMusLCM in music theory.

As a Principal Study Lecturer at Singapore Raffles Music College, he teaches Diploma, Bachelor, and Master of Music programs acc redited by the London College of Music (LCM), University of West London. He has mentored nearly 50 LCME Grade 8 and numerous Diploma students, earning a reputation as a patient and dedicated teacher.

He is also a member of the Independent Society of Musicians, UK and member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT), UK.
