Teacher Freda

Freda is a dedicated violinist and music educator based in Singapore. She began learning the violin at the age of eight and has since achieved Distinctions in both her ABRSM Grade 7 Practical and Grade 8 Violin Performance examinations.

Driven by her passion for teaching, Freda pursued formal studies in music education. She graduated with a Diploma in Music Teaching, followed by a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Instrumental and Vocal Teaching from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, in collaboration with the Royal College of Music, majoring in violin.

In addition to her violin studies, she has also developed skills in piano and singing, and continues to expand her learning interests in other musical instruments. An avid performer, Freda actively participates in string ensembles and musical gigs.

Freda believes that music education builds character and confidence in learners, and that it should be fun, engaging, and accessible to all. Freda is committed to nurturing her students unique musical interests and potential, while ensuring their learning journey is both enjoyable and inspiring
